The Real Work

WHAT A REAL
COATING INVOLVES

A ceramic coating is only as good as the prep and correction underneath it. Here's what actually goes into the job — the part a lot of cheap "coatings" skip.

01
Dedicated Walk-Around
Every job starts with a full walk-around, whether I come to you or you come to me to understand what is best for your vehicle's paint.
02
Full Decon & Prep
Full decontamination wash, clay, and iron removal. The paint has to be surgically clean before anything bonds to it, skip this and the coating fails early. Non-negotiable on every vehicle.
03
2nd Inspection Wash
After the decon wash, light comes out onto the panel, revealing anything that the naked eye can't see. Aka: Oxidation, deeper swirls, scratches, rock chips, etc.
04
Real Paint Correction
Before a machine touches the panel to cut out swirls, scratches, and oxidation, a test is done on all painted panels so the coating locks in a corrected finish, not the flaws. How much your car needs is exactly what I read during the walk-around. This is where the depth and gloss come from.
05
3rd Inspection Wash
Washing the vehicle after a paint correction, making sure all scratches you have after are gone, and for the compound and waxes that are left behind, as it can affect the life or the coating install.
06
Feynlab Coating + Warranty
Certified Feynlab products applied and cured properly, then registered so your warranty is real and backed. Depending on the coating, that's anywhere from one to five-plus years of protection.

WHAT IS CERAMIC COATING?
The science, the benefits & why it beats wax — tap to expand

Before ceramic coating existed, your only real options were wax or polymer sealants. Neither actually bonds to your paint; they just sit on top until your next wash, and then they're gone.

Ceramic coating as we know it emerged in the early 2000s from the nanotechnology sector. Using silicon dioxide (SiO₂) and titanium dioxide (TiO₂) in a liquid polymer form creates a super-hard, transparent layer that chemically cross-links with your clear coat, forming a semi-permanent, glass-hard layer that becomes part of the surface itself.

That layer does the work. It's extremely resistant to UV rays, so your paint won't fade or oxidize the way unprotected paint does in Omaha's harsh sun and salt. It resists chemical stains from bird droppings, tree sap, and road grime that would otherwise etch into your clear coat over time. And its most famous trait — the hydrophobic properties — means water beads up and rolls off, taking dirt with it, so your car stays cleaner longer between washes.

It's not a force field. It won't stop a rock chip or a deep key scratch. But for everything short of that — the everyday wear, the sun damage, the chemical contamination — it gives your paint a seriously durable, genuinely glossy layer of protection that can last one to five-plus years with simple maintenance. For a lot of people, it's the last paint protection product they ever need to buy.

Core Formula
💧
Hydrophobic Effect
Water doesn't just bead; it cleans off the surface and takes contaminants with it. Your car looks cleaner days after a wash than an uncoated car does the next morning. Less washing, less scrubbing, less chance of introducing swirl marks.
☀️
UV & Oxidation Protection
UV rays are one of the biggest killers of automotive paint — they break down the clear coat and cause that chalky, faded look. Ceramic coating acts as a UV filter, blocking that degradation so your color stays deep and vibrant for years.
🛡️
Chemical & Contaminant Resistance
Bird droppings and tree sap are acidic; on bare paint they'll etch through your clear coat in hours on a hot day. The ceramic layer resists these chemicals, giving you a real buffer of time to clean them off before any damage happens underneath.
Deeper, Richer Gloss
Because the coating is glass-hard and optically clear, it reflects light instead of diffusing it the way wax does. The result is a depth and wetness to your paint that has to be seen in person. People will ask if you just got it repainted.
Why Upgrade

CERAMIC VS WAX

Wax has its place — cheap, easy, a nice short-term shine. But if you actually want your paint protected for years instead of weeks, there's no comparison. Here's why people make the switch:
